ABOUT THE CLUB
Established in 1974 VCU Rugby is steeped in history & tradition.
With over 1000 alumni and growing, it is a community that stretches beyond college.
Currently VCU Men's Rugby Club is a D2 collegiate rugby club. We play in the Cardinals Conference Men's division and compete with a variety of schools from all over Virginia. Outside of the sport we are also a social club with various events over the course of the year. Below you can find our practice information as well as the current leaders of our organization.

Coach Joe is the man. Former player and coach of Montclair State University, he took up the job of VCU Rugby Head Coach at the start of the Fall 2021 Semester. He is also a current player for the Richmond Lions. We love Joe.

A current sophomore, and Richmond Strikes Alum. Our sneaky scrum half. Jacob is majoring in Chemistry on the Pre-charm track.
